Red vase holding the roses has been placed to slightly to the right on the edge of the table. Light shining on the red vase is the highlight of this painting. The rim of the vase also has been painted in a light colour. The handles of the vase are connected through the rings painted in darker colour. The shadows are visible on the right side. The edge of the table is prominent. The roses placed on the table balance the painting. the supporting flowers act as eye magnets and bring flow in the painting. The neutral background has mixes of many colours with a yellowish tinge on the left side and violet on the right.
